Trotteroo
All ‘round good egg and personal friend Elizabeth is starting a new business venture as Trotteroo. The idea is much like Deliveroo, which uses bicycles I think, but this uses a horse and cart.
A business born of a personal passion of the owner, which crosses over the good subjects of accessibility and environmental sustainability – it gets my thumb of approval. And the name is excellent: it does exactly what it says on the tin.
Liz uses trotting horses – that race in harness races – and says about them:
[There] is basically nothing they can’t do - this breed of horse is amazing. You can win loads of races with them, and you can also drive them through towns, not all of them, but the good ones can do other things besides racing.
